La Jambe-de-Bois is a generously hopped Triple. A heady blonde, it is very balanced and its alcohol strength is never aggressive, which makes it dangerously easy to drink.
The fermentation aromas dominate, and are reminiscent of pear and ripe banana. The hops then develop, with floral and spicy notes (white pepper, nutmeg). Its alcohol content gives it a certain roundness, but the absence of residual sugars makes its finish dry and slightly bitter.
