Yellow Huffcap is a wonderful variety that is notoriously difficult to grow. The trees will comfortably grow to at least fifty feet, and the fruit will often ‘blet’ on the tree. If you can catch them at the right time, however, they make a truly delicious and unique perry, full of crisp acidity, honeysuckle and sherbert.
