Emerald Den by Blood Brothers from Canada is a West Coast IPA that has been matured on oak. Hopped with Sabro Cryo, Mosaic Cryo and Krush hops. The oak chips bring subtle vanilla and wood tones into play. The aroma is fresh and fruity with notes of citrus fruits and sweet berries, accompanied by a fine woody note and vanilla as well as a clear pine freshness. The taste is dry and crisp in the style of West Coast IPAs, with moderate bitterness. Notes of citrus, berries and subtle oak blend harmoniously. The mouthfeel is characterized by a medium body, well carbonated, with a slender finish and characteristic freshness.
