Campden Tablets are commonly used by homebrewers in beer, wine and cider making to prevent oxidation and to inhibit the growth of wild bacteria and yeast.
Now available from Mangrove Jack's, Campden tablets allow brewers to easily measure small quantities of sodium metabisulfite without affecting the flavour. They can also be used to remove chlorine or chloramine in brewing water.
Instructions: Use 1-2 tablets per 5L wine. Crush and dissolve in warm water before adding to wine or must.
